Authentic Speech PVD is a speech-language pathology practice offering bilingual (English-Spanish) speech-language evaluations for students in grades K-5. My name is Killa Muñoz, and I am the owner and sole provider! As a new practice, I am currently seeking to contract with local districts in Rhode Island with bilingual speech-language needs.
This practice is built on a foundation of cultural and neurodivergent-affirming care.
Culturally & Linguistically Responsive Assessments: I use parent/teacher interviews, language samples, observation, and standardized assessments to accurately distinguish between a language difference and a language disorder in both languages.
Neurodiversity-Affirming Care: I bring specialized experience working with neurodivergent students, using authentic, joy-centered connection as the foundation for every evaluation.
Practical, Collaborative Reports: I give clear recommendations that honor family priorities and give educators realistic, actionable strategies to use in the classroom.
